Morgan Gendel began his career as a Programming Executive at NBC and soon joined Law & Order as a writer-producer, earning award nominations from both the Writers Guild of America and the Emmys. He later served as an Executive Producer and Showrunner of several drama series including Sony Television's worldwide hit, V.I.P..
Most recently, he was an Executive Producer of SciFi Channel's The Dresden Files. Gendel's credits include scripts for Star Trek: The Next Generation including the Hugo Award-winning episode, "The Inner Light." He is currently co-writing a "dark super-hero" movie in partnership with Stan Lee, creator of Spider-Man, X-Men and the Fantastic Four. Gendel lives in Santa Monica, California with his wife Debra, a writer and former Fashion Editor of the Los Angeles Times.
