THE SCRIPT THERAPIST
Hi, I’m Jeff. I’m a writer and psychotherapist. This combination gives me a unique perspective, and is valuable when working with you to help develop your protagonist’s external motivations and internal wounds that drive his, her, or its story forward.
My client is your protagonist. They are absolutely everything that make up your story. Through the lens of psychology, we explore their surface behavior and the depths of their soul. I work with you to understand your protagonist’s deep‑seated insecurities, neuroses, and dark shadows that make them perform unpredictable, heroic, and unspeakable acts.
“I did an 80% rewrite of my feature screenplay based on a single character observation Jeff made and it’s now 200% better! What I resisted getting for myself – therapy – has done wonders for my ability to discern my main character’s true motivation.”
